The boundaries of Graphic Design are constantly changing. The possibilities are diverse and new design briefs enable the designer to expand their knowledge in multiple areas and develop their cultural understanding within the creative process to fashion effective design solutions. I enjoy questioning a brief and using my research skills and imagination to express and explore a multitude of ideas whilst broadening my understanding of a target market. My passion for creative thinking originated from an initial design brief on creating merchandise, packaging and graphics for a band.
Recently, I have completed work experience at Norwich City Football Club and I worked with their design team to advertise their annual event 'Run Norwich'. I created a poster for a social media brief, and I designed a gallery page for their magazine; I was responsible for selecting photographs which best represented the occasion and the atmosphere of it. The experience of working in a professional environment taught me to work both independently and collaboratively with a team to meet the design needs of the client. In addition, it provided me with the opportunity to verbally present my work in front of the marketing and communications team, so I could get constructive feedback on how to develop my ideas further.
I am a Junior Graphic Designer from Norfolk, currently based in Falmouth studying BA (Hons) Graphic Design at Falmouth University.
During the holiday periods (which is quite a lot at the moment!) you can find me in the flat lands of Norfolk where I find inspiration for my new and upcoming projects.
Feel free to have a look at my online portfolio and don't hesitate to get in contact!
